The 35th Infantry Regiment Association salutes our fallen brother, PFC Robert Steven Clements, who died on November 29th, 1969 in Pleiku Province, Vietnam. The cause of his death was Friendly Fire (Artillery). At the time of his death Robert was 21 years of age. He was from Seattle, Washington.
Robert is honored on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial at Panel 15W, Line 3.
The decorations earned by PFC Robert Steven Clements include: the Combat Infantry Badge, the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart, the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm.
